Kasia Moon Wilusz

Kasia combines a sense of humor, whimsy, and occasional satire into a myriad of creative endeavors derived from experiences that include the raising of future adults, volunteerism, and farming.

An avid hiker, horseback riding, hot-rod owner & cross-country driver coupled with her adventures abroad have all added spice to her work's soup that morphs as the vision changes.

Sculpting in terracotta and paper mache, painting in oil, acrylic, and watercolor, along with utilizing textiles and printmaking have all been used at various times when expressing a theme.

'How to achieve the visual goal?' is an often addressed conundrum at the core of her creative passion.

"Shoot for the Moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars" - Norman Vincent Peale

Formal Art Instruction

Kasia received her Graphic Design & Illustration degree from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, painting classes with Neil Kosch at Temple University, and printing courses at University of Hartford and Hartford Capital Community College.

Attending workshops, (most recently was encaustic painting with Gaye Schempp at Whiting Mills Studios in Winsted, Connecticut,)  and participating in local art groups as well as occasionally teaching kids keeps her learning.

The sky's the limit when it comes to knowledge!

Professional work such as illustration for various periodicals and children's books, logo design and solo and group art shows  fills her portfolio of capabilities.

Kasia’s studio is currently located in Southern Arizona.
